Pickup & delivery from $30
The base round trip starts at $30 from North Miami, plus $1 per mile based on the total distance. You will be notified before proceeding if the total exceeds $60. Shipping is unavailable.

Carla is a certified Placenta Encapsulator through Brilliant Birth Academy and holds a current Bloodborne Pathogens Training Certificate.

Prepare for your birth
Bring a medium-size cooler to your hospital or birth center. Your birth location can provide ice upon request.

Message Carla when baby arrives
Send a quick message once your baby is born. Carla will coordinate pickup within 24 hours of birth. Pickup hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Receive your placenta capsules
Capsules are ready within five days of pickup. Dosage and storage instructions are included in your box—please read them before putting anything away.
Placenta Tinctures & Salves
Tincture $50 · Cream / Salve $60
Getting the most use and benefits out of your placenta may be something to consider. You do not necessarily need to choose one preparation over another—you can combine placenta products as part of your postpartum plans.
Placenta tinctures are concentrated alcohol solutions containing the nutrients and hormones of each mother's placenta to provide balance as needed. Tinctures allow for preservation without cooking or dehydrating the placenta.
Placenta salves are natural, organic handmade balms for both mother and baby. Our luxuriously buttery, multipurpose balm is suited to caesarean scarring, hemorrhoids, diaper rashes, sunburns and cracked nipples. It is organic, non-toxic, non-sticky, lanolin-free and non-GMO.
Families booking placenta services in Miami-Dade or Broward can ask Carla about combining tinctures and salves with encapsulation or other products. A minimum service total of $300 applies per placenta.

Tincture Preparation & Salve Ingredients
Placenta tinctures
We make our placenta tinctures with premium organic grain alcohol. The final product is ready between two and four weeks after birth and, if stored properly, can last a lifetime. The placenta tincture can stabilize hormones and increase energy levels, and it can be used during times of stress or transition.
Placenta salves
Our salves are made with shea butter and calendula oil. Shea butter is known for its antibacterial, protective and moisturizing properties. Calendula oil, extracted from marigold flowers, hydrates dry skin and offers calming and restorative qualities.

Placenta smoothies are another option available through Todo Wellness Births for local families planning their postpartum care.
We strongly recommend placenta smoothies, especially when mothers are having a planned caesarean section, as they aid healing and recovery. Packed with each client's own uniquely designed healing nutrients, stem cells, growth factors, iron and essential hormones, placenta smoothies provide the immediate health-enhancing benefits of the placenta.
Having a fruit smoothie with a walnut-size piece of raw placenta added gives the mother a revitalizing energy boost. Made with organic strawberries and raspberries and fresh orange juice, this vitamin-rich placenta smoothie tastes no different from a regular smoothie—we promise!

Placenta cord keepsakes and prints are a wonderful and meaningful way to honor and remember your birth. These personal keepsakes can be framed and displayed alongside family photographs and other special memories.
Choose a cord keepsake, a natural placenta print or a sparkle placenta print. You can combine keepsakes and prints with placenta encapsulation, tinctures, salves or smoothies. Encapsulation is our primary service, but it is not required: you are welcome to combine available products to meet the $300 minimum service total per placenta.
